Dear Jan, It is good to see that you're keeping Jimmy alive through this publication. I hope you're able to learn much more about him, the man and his music through your ongoing research. I consider myself a lucky man to have worked with him along with Cecil Taylor and others. I hope music fans will discover Jimmy Lyons and musicians, especially saxophone players should continue to listen to Jimmy's style of playing the alto saxophone. I'm sure they will grow from such studies. One has to listen to the best in order to move one's playing to that ever elusive "Next Level."
